General Information

Located at 118 Bridge Street, Catasauqua, Pa 18032, in the Borough of Catasauqua, The County of Lehigh.

This is a 4-Story building located above the Catasauqua Municipal Borough Offices and Police Station. Each apartment is 1-Bedroom. Each apartment has a Living Room/Dining Area, Kitchen, Bedroom, and Bathroom.

There is a sitting area on each floor, a coin-operated laundry on the 4th Floor with limited, designated off-street parking for tenants only.

Catasauqua Apartments is owned and managed by Lehigh County Housing Authority.  The building is monitored by Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.

To be eligible for the building the following Criteria must be met:

  • You need to be age 55 or older (A small percentage of physically handicapped under the age of 55 are allowed.)
  • There are income limits of $34,440 for 1 person and $39,360 for 2 people.

Income is based on all monies received from Employment, Social Security, Pensions, Welfare, Unemployment, Alimony, Life Insurance and Other Income Sources applicable. Interest and Dividends from Savings, Checking, CD’s, Property, and Investments are considered Assets. If you have given gifts within 2 years, that may also be used as imputed income.

If you are determined eligible for Catasauqua Apartments, your rent will be $648.00 per month. Rents subject to change yearly, please see the application for updated rent amounts. Your rent includes Gas Heat, Gas Heated Hot Water, Water, Sewer, and Trash Removal. The Tenant is responsible to provide their own Air Conditioner meeting requirements set by LCHA. Tennant is responsible to pay Electricity, Cable, and Telephone. An Electric Stove and Refrigerator are provided.

There is NO HUD subsidy to help pay the rent for the apartment provided. But, if you have a voucher from a Housing Authority, we DO accept the voucher which bases your rent on your adjusted income.
